Fonte del Sasso is a spring in the Cerbaie woods towards Seradigo, designated as a natural biotope in 1997: fresh water, real shade, and meadows where the village comes to have its merenda (afternoon snack).

It is the traditional site for August 11: the day after San Lorenzo, the mass merenda (picnic) in the cool of the woods — a custom born over a century ago, revived in the 1980s and alive again today with the "San Lorenzino" celebration.
